I was commissioned by the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship program to showcase my Firefly Boards workflow in creating my college cafe brand, DAWAFLOR, a Puerto-Rican/Filipinx Cafe.

Using Adobe Firefly Boards, I used generative AI in my workflow and to create high-quality mockups and conceptual images of how DAWAFLOR will look in real life.

Da Local Boy is a Hawaiian-fusion restaurant located in Highwood and Chicago IL. For two years in a row they have been recognized as a NYT Top 25 Restaurant in Chicago and in the Chicago suburbs.

I was hired to create various graphics and brand designs for the Chicago location in collaboration with the owners. These graphics capture the colorful culture of Hawaii while emphasizing the restaurant’s delicious mixed plates.

How Pokemon Conquered America Editorial Design

I made an editorial design of the article “How Pokemon Conquered America.” I fused together Pokemon’s nostalgic pixel sprites with vibrant colored environments to create colorful compositions, beautiful enough to collect and hang on your wall. Each spread, although different in color, is united through its pixelated style and progressive time-of-day scenery.

Strange Pictures Book Cover Redesign

To encapsulate Strange Pictures’ uneasy and dreadful story in a more contemporary way, I redesigned the book cover with dark colors and piercing yellows. I used a facial illustration from the book as an overlay on the book title to create visual interest with its bizarre iconography.

I redesigned the logo and business card for Ida’s Artisan Ice Cream & Treats, a Chicago Black-Owned Ice Cream shop dedicated to bringing together community.
I wanted to emphasize the bright and bubbly nature of Ida’s brand, so I used sweet colors and fun typography to add decorative flair to the brand.
